What Is This Site All About?
I made this site for many reasons. First, I always wanted to learn to make a website. Second, I wanted to organize all my product development knowledge in a single place, and then share it with the world. Third, I just felt that a website like this should exist.
More About Me
My fundamental passion is to find solutions to challenging problems. Above all else, I am a creative and positive person who consistently looks for opportunities to improve the systems around me. I love the design process, the creation of innovative products and solutions, and am driven by the rewarding feeling of being productive and effective. My work is enriched by my connections to others and I embrace collaboration and teamwork. I hope to never stop learning.
I like to think that I’m a T-shaped person: deeply knowledgeable about engineering and product development, but widely experienced and academically interested in many other fields (strategy, manufacturing, marketing, education, and finance in particular). Finding innovative solutions often comes as a result of applying insights from one field to another, so this healthy curiosity is critical for creative problem-solving.
I am also a tireless communicator; I listen and share in equal measure to help facilitate effective teamwork. My experience and flexible personality allow me to work easily in cross-functional teams, and I have a proven track-record of working productively with employees and senior management. I’m passionate, motivated and competitive, but I know enough not to take myself too seriously.
I spend my free time with friends and family in Los Angeles.
